1 Kelvin = -272.15 Celsius
Key Formulas
Celsius → Fahrenheit
°F = f(°C)Fahrenheit → Celsius
°C = f(°F)Celsius → Kelvin
K = f(°C)Kelvin → Celsius
°C = f(K)Formula
°C = K − 273.15Kelvin and Celsius intervals are the same size, but their zero points differ by 273.15. Subtract that offset when a scientific paper, laboratory result, or engineering calculation gives an absolute temperature in kelvins and you need a Celsius reading. Ordinary thermodynamic temperatures start at 0 K, so negative kelvin inputs are outside this converter's physical domain.
