By accessing or using Convert Calc at convertcalc.org (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. Convert Calc reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
Convert Calc provides a free online unit conversion tool for informational and general reference purposes only. The Service converts measurements across categories including length, weight, temperature, volume, speed, and others. The Service is provided "as is" without any commitment to availability, continuity, or accuracy.
3. No Professional Advice
The conversion results provided by Convert Calc are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, engineering, medical, legal, financial, or scientific advice. You must not rely on the Service for any purpose that requires certified accuracy or professional expertise. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions where precision is critical.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. Convert Calc does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. 6. Accuracy of Conversions
While Convert Calc endeavours to provide accurate conversion factors based on internationally recognised standards such as NIST SP 811, we make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any conversion result. Conversion factors may be rounded for display purposes. Convert Calc is not responsible for any loss, damage, or consequence resulting from reliance on conversion results provided by the Service.
7. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial reference purposes. You must not: (a) use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service; (c) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service without prior written permission; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on Convert Calc, including but not limited to text, design, code, graphics, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is the property of Convert Calc or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without express written permission.
9. Third-Party Advertising
The Service displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. Convert Calc is not responsible for the content of these advertisements or the practices of advertisers. By using the Service, you acknowledge that Convert Calc has no control over and accepts no liability for third-party advertising content. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. If you are accessing the Service from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
